We live in a world filled with competing voices telling us what to believe, how to live, and where to find truth.

But as followers of Jesus Christ, we need something more solid than the shifting opinions of culture.

We need a foundation.

The Foundations is a place for thoughtful, biblical teaching designed to strengthen your walk with Christ, deepen your faith, and help you think clearly in a confused and upside-down world.

Here, we’ll return again and again to the things that matter most:

God’s Word.
Grace.
Truth.
Discipleship.
Holiness.
The Church.
And what it means to actually follow Jesus.

This isn’t about collecting more Christian information. It’s about allowing God’s truth to shape the way we think, live, make decisions, and respond to the world around us.

Jesus didn’t simply call us to believe in Him. He called us to follow Him.

That means our faith should reach beyond Sunday morning. It should affect our thinking, our relationships, our choices, our character, and the way we live every day.

That’s why the foundation matters.

What we build our lives upon determines how we stand when the storms come.

Meet Dean

I’m F. Dean Hackett, and I’ve been serving in full-time Christian ministry since 1971.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a pastor, conference speaker, mentor, church planter, and teacher throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. I’ve planted churches, helped others plant churches, trained leaders, and spent decades teaching people how to build their lives on the truth of God’s Word.

I’ve also written books and developed teaching resources around Christian living, discipleship, grace, identity, and spiritual growth.

But after all these years, I’ve become increasingly convinced of something simple:

We don’t need to make Christianity more complicated. We need to return to its foundations.

God’s Word still matters.

Truth still matters.

Holiness still matters.

Grace still matters.

Discipleship still matters.

And Jesus is still calling us to follow Him.

Through The Foundations, I’ll explore questions like:

• What does grace actually mean for the believer?

• How do we walk in holiness without falling into legalism?

• What does genuine discipleship look like?

• How do we renew our minds and overcome the patterns that hold us back?

• How do we distinguish biblical truth from the ideas competing for our attention?

• How do we build a life that can stand when the storms come?

Some articles will encourage you.

Some will challenge you.

Some may cause you to stop and rethink something you’ve always assumed.

But my goal is always the same:

To point you back to Jesus and His Word.
